Welcome to my blog! I am Kerry McFarland, Earthdarling Portraits creator/photographer, AND the mother of two young kids. I started out as a fine art photographer many years ago. A few years back I fell in love with my most demanding model, my daughter. From that love spawned Earthdarling Portraits. I've been using the name Earthdarling for some time now, in various online settings. When I started this business in 2008, I thought it was a fitting name, since I specialize in natural light, try to incorporate as much nature as possible, and everyone I take a picture of is a darling! Get it?
On this blog, you can catch some of my most recent work (but truthfully I'm better at updating my Facebook page), and a little bit of humor to boot. Life as a working mom is fill with humor and frustration, as most of you know. Come laugh and cry with me, it's the only way I know how to get through it!
